so that no one ever rekindled
whispering embers of fire
we took our hearts to the sea shores
staying afloat
laying our charred backs on
timbers of hope
we drifted away
insulating ourselves from
currents of time
we collected sands, building islands
healing wounds so deep
joy sprang from the waters of weep
the new world seemed just fine
embers dissolved, slowly
beating memory to sleep

Hope
I've been waiting oceans of time
fully knowing
you're light years away
memories sublime
never leaving
they shall stay that way
breathing hope into
every moment of the day
I shall never break the walk of wait
never go astry.
Slowly
oceans dissolved the
sweetness of my heart
despise me not for the salty poetry
I'd let the oceans have my fill
only now I learn
how to drip them out of my veins
bear with me untill

Cloud monologue
let me fill up the thin air
let my lotus folds engulf the moon
becoming sky
I would quench my thirsty flight
drinking moonlight
shreading strands of gray from within
tinge by tinge
**desires always want what is beyond**

Let Go
harbouring despair,
light leaked out of my
front door and
shadows housed
within.
ask me,
if I could ever cajole
the circles of remorse
in leaving me
alone.
drinking regret
blood assumes the colour of poison,
the hues of blue
spreading slowly
therein.
melody always finds the musician
lest
it should breed treachery
green fields of closure
are the melting points of misery.
