Hope

I've been waiting oceans of time
fully knowing
you're light years away
memories sublime
never leaving
they shall stay that way
breathing hope into
every moment of the day
I shall never break the walk of wait
never go astry.
Slowly
oceans dissolved the
sweetness of my heart
despise me not for the salty poetry
I'd let the oceans have my fill
only now I learn
how to drip them out of my veins
bear with me untill
